Allrighty chaps, installed some UK PIAA's the other day, the ones everyone was ravin about.. H3 platinum white jobbies, did the earth mod thing connecting the wires to the screw on the casing as instructed (used 8AMP wire for the earth if that makes a difference?) and its still not that much cop...they are supposed to be like an 85w using 55W bulbs or something?

 

Is Jeffs upgrade the only thing that makes it acceptable on these? does he (or 'you' if ure readin this Jeff!) still do these?

 

Ive seen the posts, just not sure what to do, the thought of getting off that bumper and taking it all apart makes me feel ill, and thats after doing the leather seats using zcentres kit which took ages!

Well, I was well impressed with the difference on mine. Drove the Z for the first time since fitting them at night this weekend and a big improvement. I got Superwhite though, not sure how they compare to Platinum white? When I spoke to the PIAA rep he said defo Superwhite would be best ones to go for.
