Just went round all the coil packs, injector connector connectors and PTU and found the usual green corrosion. Wacked a load of halfords contact cleaner over them, and it just wont shift it. Have scraped some of it off with a small screwdriver.

Anyone reccommend a good contact cleaner that will actually dissolve this green crap?

Also when I put all the connectors back, it runs worse. Have been round twice and re-seated and checked everything and still the same. ECU check code 55 all OK, so may re-set it and see if that helps.

Have you tried carburettor/choke cleaner? May have to

leave it a few minutes as it will dissolve the corrosion

on the connectors, i used it on mine. Worked a treat!

What about electrical conductivity???? Or will it vapourise??

could be a worry. Guess I should do it at the weekend just in case. Once the crap has gone, should be able to blast away any leftover carb cleaner with the solvent based contact cleaner

if you have a maplines they actualy sell an electrical contact cleaner that desolves copper oxidisation.

Says exactly that on the can and works fantastic.
