i dont know if ive dropped a piston, they are looking now ill know on next friday,

something to do with the idiot mechanic in rome who put compleetly wrong plugs in the car and i suspect wrong fuel to, anyway at least now i can upgrade lol

 

anders there is a post on ttnet about mines ecu's and they recon it costs in excess of a thousand dollars for the ecu and they also say they are ther dogs bollocks, ps has your car been fixed.

Yeh, I read that bud. I spoke to Options motorsport who said (with confidence) that its not the ECU causing the problem. They provide mines ECU's to many cars and say that they will run fine on 98 octane super. Options also reckon that they are the best on the market hence the silly prices. I haven't had the chance to have it investigated further as the car is still being repaired from the accident.

 

I hope to get it back very soon now. Getting the engine problems sorted is first on the agenda when I get it back. I will keep you informed.

 

anders spoke to options motorsport today and he say's that if you shipo your ecu to mines they will recalibrate for uk fuel free of charge or something to that effect, just thaught i would share thaty wiht you

Thats useful info. Options were very helpful over the phone. Its a shame my Z's been of the road since. As soon as I get it back ..............

 

well at least your z is in england lol, mine is sitting in rome and i am having a panic attack.
