im a bit out of my league here

ive got water leaking out of bottom of engine

seems to be coming from rear of bottom belt pulley

got all front parts off

ie fan, hoses, right side drive belt cover etc etc

to the point of loosing track of everything

would i be right in thinking it may be the water pump??

or is it worse maybe head?? :( :( :(

Water pump or the two hoses that feed it;)

how do you know if the water pump is not working if i manage to get it off

Blimey! My mates did exactly the same thing today.

Not sure if its the pump or just the pipes, having a look tomorrow.

If it is the pump, it'll be a cambelt change too!

Probably the sealent on the pump has corroded, if you've gone to the effort of taking it off you may as well put a new one on and resealing.

You don't need to do your cam belt at the same time, I didn't bother, but that just means I have to strip the whole car down again in a few months to change it then,

Just replaced my pump m8

same symptoms

got parts from mike at MJP Eastern auto in the traders section

order

the two water pipes (may as well replace)

thermostat (may as well replace)

waterpump

you'll also need a tube of liquid gasket

about £80 (can't remember last week  )

special tools

6" pulley

I think thats it  but I may be corrected.

Jesus my memory is bad only finished the job off thursday night.

Good luck m8
