Anyone ever have trouble getting fuel in?

Ahhhh, just thinking about me car!

Sorry, yeah, when I had my car almost a year ago, it would not take fuel onboard without a John Cleese stick across the bonnet episode!

Click-stop would constantly come on when trying to get any Jank into the Tank...I did notice someone mentioned this recently about Super or Optimax.

Could it be an air lock in the tank or the filling pipe?

Hey Tim,

I've got the same problems on my Zed. I reckon that the Jap spec fuel filler neck is positioned at a different angle than normal cars. Just a guess. Most annoying filling up at 2L a minute...

Dan the Man,

Mine is UK geeZer, I just think it could be Z's with their little quirks.

But like you say it is most frustrating getting about 10p in to the tank every few minutes and sounding like a Police Squad shoot-out scene!!! biggrin.gif

depends on different nozzles at different garages....

i have to either put nozzle in and turn clockwise until handle level with bottom of fuel flap, or put nozzle in upside down and turn anti clockwise until level with top of fuel flap

both rely on having the rubber guard on the handle to stop scratching the car though

P.S. Mine was a nightmare too !

I have the same problem but I did find an Angle that works everywhere!!!

Get the pistol in... and if you are facing the car rotate clockwise so that you thump goes towards the tale of the car like if you are shooting the pistol sideway towards the front of the car....

get all the pistol in and turn clockwise until the door of the petrol-thingy stops the pistol from turning...

With luck this works for me

wink.gif Thanks matey, sounds like the Craig Method aswell, will defo try this ancient Japanese Art of fuel filling a Z when it comes home...we know a song about that don't we...

Turn the Nozzle round so its horizontal
