ok then so i have just finished fitting the pcv valves and the 5 new hoses thanks to mike feeney in the traders section, :dance:

 

went to start the zed and a load of white smoke is pouring out of both exhausts turning brown when u give it a rev and it backfires to so i think its running really rich !! :cry:

 

bit of history for ya !!

 

was smoking a lot of blue oil but the pcv kit sorted it !!

 

new turbos 2 years ago !! and only done about 5000 miles on them

 

i did disconect the drivers side o2 censor i think to get to the pcv valve !!

 

any help much appreceated as its driving me nuts :mad: :mad:

brown smoke doesnt sound very good

have done a ecu diag test including the o2 sensors and all seem well,

have also reset the ecu and its still smoking really bad only started after i did the pcv job !!! :o

had a look at my exhausts and a lot of water is coming through them,

the aiv valve in the passenger side wheel well is gurgling as well

 

could the water in the aiv valve be going into the exhust manifolds and is causing the smoke ??
