im not greatly mechanically minded

hope someone can help me out.

on my way home i noticed it wouldnt go into boost,(just dipped down as if no fuel) i presume this is the safety boost.

i then noticed the temp go into the red

i got home noticed it was leaking water.

took the center panel off to see where it was coming from.

found a big lump of polestirene jammed between the fan and the rad

now how the hell did this get there, because the front scoop is coverd with mesh (veilside c2 type front ).

cant see no water from front of rad.

need to get car off ground to find out where leak is

hope its not serious

can anyone help ?

From what i can gather, it should still boost when in safety boost, just

no more than 5psi?

As for the polystyrene, do you have the sump guard thing fitted, could've

come through there?

wheres all the pro,s on here someone must know whats going on

its also started reving around 1500 on idle and when you press clutch

i fitted an apexi intake at billing and it doesnt seem to have been the same since

hi mate your ECU will be ajusting to the new air properties hence reason for slightly high idle give it a couple of hundred miles and should settle :) mines the same since apexi induction kit fitted at billing ;)

maybe a water pipe connected under rad was knocked by the force of something hitting it plus with hoses 10years old tend to perish

have you done an ECU test by lifting up the passenger floor mat undoing bolts and checking for faults via codes maybe a sensor knackered worth a check ;)

hope it aint serious mate greg

what do you need a pro for??? youve got a water leak.. you need to find it....
