aftermarket boost gauge, uprated clutch/fast road auto box

sounds bout right, dont forget to get a decent guage to read the correct pressures when your playing with the sizes, dont go by the stock one as you probably know ;)

Thanks Guys.

I am waiting on a Boost gaugue at the moment ;)

Will I really need a fast road box (auto)?. I have the larger oil cooler for the Auto box on my shopping list :D

Cheers

I have been running 16psi on the stock box for about 8 mnths, seems to be fine, I know someone else who has been running a bar on a standard box for nearly two years it hasnt gave out yet. But then I know someone who is running 14psi and his box gave away within a few weeks.

I guess it depends on what sort of life its had, although I have been told the standard auto can cope with upto 400bhp max.

Mines still working fine, although I want to upgrade it due to fitting other new bits (tubbies, nitrous etc).

Thing is mate, no point in upgrading till you need to, you dont need a better box to run 16psi, but it could last a month could last a year or more, no telling. So really, I would look at getting a better box in the future but get the full use out of your until it dies.

;)

Probably look at running about 12psi if I can. Tehn will probably get greedy and blow it up :D

Thanks for the Info.
