I had an early-life crisis!

I realised I was being too boring and why not live a little- life's just too short to be thinking about long term stuff. Get out there and enjoy it while you can (within reason!) as you never know what's going to happen to you tomorrow :D :duffer:  .

As for my choice of car, in hind-sight there couldn't have been anything else, for reasons everyone else has mentioned. But price was the biggest factor :)

Kind of still on topic, does anybody know anything about the GT3000/GTO's ? A neighbour has a really nice '96 VR4 (4wd 320BHP, 6speed) which goes like stink. Not my cup of tea but it's still a great car. Any idea how my stock Zed compares? Thats one of the reason I'm planning all my mods, gotta keep up with the jones's !!! :D

GT/GTO is a nice car but the UK spec was 280BHP like the ZX, although not sure about later (or import) versions of the GT. US spec got 320 bhp (but 320 USA bhp is really about 150 real BHP :D )

1993 What Car road test (ZX/GT/Pork 968/SoopTT) had the ZX trouncing the GT but stuffed by the Soop (0-100 = ZX 14.4/GT 16.1/Pork 15.9 and Soop a fekking fast 12.2!!). UK spec Soop was 326bhp & 330lb/ft torque stock though and they are a little lighter than a ZX

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
