can anyone help me please!!!!! i have a 90`tt jap auto, its got a razo re40 turbo timer fitted next to the gear lever with a little flip up screen, first problem is half of it is wrote in japanese, second problem...how do you use it and what does it do????????

Hi mate i dont know how that one works perhaps someone else will , what it does is keep your engine ticking over after you have removed the key thus cooling the turbos, yes you can lock the door and walk away it wiill stop its a bit strange to start with though . Try messing about with it, on mine you canset how long it will run or on auto it works it out on its own i think !

Just to clarify what Yamabuki said, ;) a full auto turbo timer with indeed keep you engining running after you remove the key, you set a min time i.e. 30 seconds and the timer then works out your engin speed and increeces the time as you drive, :p then as you slow down the timer reduces, so if your toeing it down the motorway and then get stuck in traffic the timer will count up with speed then down whilst your stationary or moving slowly, i think it counts down while you in neg boost! was on a run today and was running a bit late, when i got their my timer was nearly at 10 mins :shock: so they do work and it is a bit strange walking away from your can whilst it's running but that soon passes. hope this helps and as it was said earlier just paly about with it, you aint gonna break nothing and it's the only was you'll learn what it does :D the only prob is you might not be able to set your alarm until the timer has finished it's count down, but most imbs set them selves after a set time anyway so your can aint gonna get nicked while you pop in the shop for some tabs :D if you still cant get it to work the way you want it to dich it and buy a Greddy or HKS one, think you can pick them up on ebay for about 50ish so no breaking the bank thier
