Anyone know the wheel offsets for a 350z ? I feel a cunning plan forming ....

Hmmm, nice big shiny Brembo's too (wonder whether she'll notice when she gets back!) LOL ;)

LOL Andy, this smacks of subterfuge, however, in the chance that you're not mucking about, I found the following information, courtesy of Mr Veilside Z:

The offset for the Rays is +30mm & +33mm, but the difficult part is that it all depends on the design / type of wheel because it is all relative to the mounting surface...

5 bolt

114.3 PCD bolt pattern

Standard Wheels / Tyres

18โ€ x 8J +30mm offset โ€“ Factory standard 18โ€

225/45WR18 โ€“ Factory standard 18โ€

Revolutions per mile = 777.0

Of course, if you were seriously looking for a set of these wheels, I'm just waiting for some tyres (forever it seems  ) before my new super-bling wheels go on, and I haven't made up my mind about my Rays just yet. ;)

No, I am moderately serious, becuase I've noticed that a few of the 350z geezers are swapping over either their standard or Rays alloys for something new. I just missed a pukka set (including decent tyres) for ยฃ800. I've been driving the 350 recently and it's made me realise how nice it is to have great brakes, so the longer term plan is a Brembo (or similar) upgrade.

From memory the PCD is right, maybe I'll have a quick fitting test tonight ...

Yep, couldn't agree more, the brakes were one of the things that swayed my decision. Do I take it, then, that Mrs P has a 350, or have I got this arse-about-face?

ย

As for a set of Rays for ยฃ800 that's a bargain, for sure, especially given the monstrous price they are from Mandella if you need to replace one! As I say, I'm waiting for my tyres to turn up before my new alloys go on, but I haven't decided what to do with the existing wheels yet .. I may keep them to re-install them at sale time - dunno yet.

Yeah, that's right, she has a 350 with the standard wheels. Looks like Z32 have offsets of 45mm front and 35mm rear, so not quite right, also I'd probably want wider than 8.5" rears. 8" fronts would have been OK though ....
