Hmmm, sounds cheap as chips mate,socketed and everything? would be cautious with that. Could always grab the chip and give it to one of the guys on the board that got an EPROM programmer to look at the fuel maps etc if they didnt mind.

 

My bet is if it does work, hes just coppied a mainstream one and changed the code ever so slightly so he cant be done, but dont make shit all diff to performance.

 

Cheap as chips (hehehe) to buy chips and copy the master onto others if you got the hardware, that prolly what hes doing for a quick buck.
