Flippin' Nissan Maindealer & cant find the oil filter....

Just got the car back from the local nissan dealer after a cambelt change and some numbnuts managed to break the plastic shield around the radiator fan in half!!!! the cheeky *****cks then just put it back on still in two pieces and didnt bother to tell me.

Also they charged to change my oil and brake fluid yet the two litres of 5.1 I put in the boot havent been touched!!!!!

Stoopid question but where is the oil filter? I want to check they have actually put a new one on the car and changed the oil! (on checking the residue on the filler cap the oil still seems really grubby, I would expect it to be a lot cleaner after a change....)

Yeah, you're right. I've no excuse for not doing the oil change, that was just lazyness!! serves me right, cant seem to find the filter will have a proper look in the morning.

Really didnt fancy messing with the Cambelt myself. Will be taking the car back tomorrow. Might have to have a test drive in that 350z they have on the forecourt while I'm there too!!!! ;-)

if they changed it the oil filter will be blue colour, any other colour and it may not even be a real nissan oil filter

I hope you got them to replace the shroud? I would not be best pleased at that!

When you pay top dollar for someone to work on your car you shouldn't let them away with kwik fit style incompetence
