The to the left of the battery towards the back of the engine, just under a few pipes facing out towards the left of the car,it still feels a little low,my last 300 N/A was about 750 which felt perfect!!!!!!

Any ideas how to adjust it Andy?

750 rpm is perfect! DO NOT use the idle screw to adjust the idle, this is for adjusting base idle with the idle valve disconnected ;) The ecu controlls the idle by switching the idle valve on and off very quickly. If the ecu is not getting the right signals or there is a fault somewhere, then you will not get 750 rpm idle, simple as....

So back to my original question how do i adjust it it's just over 600 and i need it to bne be spot on 750................

Recommended Procedure:

(1) disconnect idle valve

(2) adjust base idle (the way you did before)

(3) reset ECU

(4) reconnect idle valve

Job done (probably ;))

Easiest way is to hook up a ConZult, go to the base idle/tps adjustment window (this automatically disconnects the idle valve and gives you a true reading of the base idle), adjust base idle (if necessary), exit window, job done.

Good luck!

Hi Alex,

I've got a conzult and we can sort out the front indicators :)

Vijay

Have you checked the connection to the idle valve? Does disconnecting and reconnecting it make the revs change at all????
