I need a big big big favour off someone up Newcastle way :)

 

I have just procured a cracking deal on an engine, but before I go up to pick it up I'd really like someone to hear it before it's dismantled from the car and let me know if it's a good 'un!

 

There'd be a few :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: in it & some shekels for your time :)

 

In fact if someone was coming down from Newcastle to 'darn sarf' in a works truck/van in the next couple of days and fancied droppping it off to me/baggins Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire I'm sure we could come to some kind of monetary arrangement :D :bow: :bow:

 

Failing that I'll have to hire a van/people carrier & drag the missus & 3 kids up to Geordieland :cry:

Any idea where it is, Im up at PPS tomorrow (seaham) so if its no too far away from there and i have the time mate i'll have a see.

Haven't got exact address from her yet and she just mailed to say that she wouldn't be in tomorrow, but can do it all on Weds If any1 can have a peek on Weds! pwees!

I would be happy to help you out mate, but both of my cars are off the road until later in the week. I'm expecting the replacement MAF to arrive for my Z mid-week so if you don't manage to get anything sorted beforehand, and (fingers crossed) I get at least one car sorted, I can take a look for you towards the weekend.

If theres anyone from Newcastle driving down south, anywhere down south, This week/weekend I'd really rather not drive 280 miles up to Newcastle.

 

If some one could pickup this engine & autobox and maybe meet up with me, it would be very very much appreciated. I'll pay good money! Even if you're going to Brum/London, where ever, I would still be interested as I could meet up with you M/way SS or your destination?

 

Major reason being that if I have to go up, for complex reasons, I'd have to take my three kids with me - on a 600mile round trip :mac1: :cry:

lol SMW1 charge? I went round his house to fix my smoking problems, not only did he manage that but him and cerina wouldn't even let me pay for lunch and treated me to a Mcdonalds :D
