Dropped into my local Nelson to pick up an oilfilter & sump plug washer (total incl. VAT =£8.00) and decided to ask if they could quickly re-tighten my fanbelt pulley as it is making horrible screeching noises on cold starts. Was absolutely dumb founded when their head mechanic "popped" out and said "why don't you just spray the engine bay with Mr Sheen - that should get rid of all sorts of squeels for a few weeks". I kid you not! Aparently Nelson likes to put extra grease on the belts when they've been taken off. Needless to say that I jumped in the car, welded my foot to the floor never to return!

Oh yeah, and since when does a Consult not work on a J-spec Zed? You should have seen their face when I shorted the plug and did an ECU test in a minute flat (still indicating code 34 - %$^&*£& damn).

Danny, when are you going to be in Holland again m8 ?

Then I can test our consult-software on your (Jspec) car...and see if there's anything different.

Eric,

Any news on when the software will be available and its approx cost?

Eric ! Where've you been m8?!

No plans as of yet to be back in the Low Lands but just after Xmas is a good possibility.

Quick Q mate: could leaks in the intake/vacuum system result in detonation?

Take care, hope you're okay!
