Very hi revs

Took the radiator out yesterday to fit another cleaned the T/B as i was at it and forgot to disconnect the battery, now the revs are up to 1500 in park and 1100 in drive what have i done? :(

    Reset the ECU...........for one........if you have not already (disconect the battery for 45 minutes which I'm sure you know!)

     

    Cleaning the TB's always makes the revs go higher until you've driven a 50 or so miles (that's what it took for me!!) and then they drop to the usual level.

    If this problem doesn't correct itself u might have just twisted the throttle position sensor a bit if the screws are loose.
