iam trying to fit a +power cable from the battry to the amp in the boot

1. how do i get through the bulk head.???

any tips on fiting a amp as iam not the best with wires :rofl:

Im not sure on how to get the wire through the bulk head but im guessing theres a rubber grommit on the passenger side somewhere in the footwell?

 

You will need the power with the inline fuse obviously.

A good earth. Use some sand paper and sand away the paint on the boot floor or somewhere around there and screw the earth in. Unless theres a better place on Zeds?

Also the remote power cable from your headunit to switch the amp on and off with the headunit.

Try and run the RCA cables down the opposite side of the car to the power cable.

take the board out undo the ecu and pull it out and just above there's a grommit there nice and big so you should be able to put it through there

tryed behind the ecu NIGHTMARE. i couldent get the cable through it and when i did i coudent find it in the engine bay

ive just had 3 gauges fitted and all cables and pipes go through the hole behind the ecu so not alot of room there cut my hands to shreds :rofl:

there must be anthoer hole some where ???

as for the other wires there all done remote+rca+earth wires allready done under the carpet just need power!!!!!!!

the only other one is the opp side in the drivers foot well so you will have to remove the carpet

 

or make you own hole and buy another grommit

when I wanted to wire on front fogs, someone here suggested taping the wire to the end of an opened out wire coat hanger and carefully poking it through the same grommet the bonnet-release cable goes through.

 

It's just above the accellerator pedal.

 

Worked fine for me ;)

I'm fairly certain the ecu cables come out into the passengers side wheel arche behind the plastic trim, (you'll need to undo three or four screws on this to make enough space to get your hand in) they then feed up to a large hole right beside the battery. Did my laser blinder yesterday via this route, I think everybody is talking about the same gromit i used.

you could go through the passenger side wing, comes out right next to the battery, take of the cover under the wing off

cheers lads ive now fitted the power cable. i went behind the ecu in the end cut my hands to bits but got my subs up and running :hyper:
