The passenger side front shock is leaking. I assume it's just got to be a matter of replacing it (and of course the matching drviers side one)?

I want to keep the height the same, so just after a standard pair... anyone know wher'es the cheapest to get them from, or does anyone have any low mileage ones for sale (Jap spec)?

How many labour hours do you thibk it'd take to fit them... need to weigh up whether I can be bothered to do it myself or just pay someone and be a lazy arse.

Cheers,

David

Try our traders first (of course!). Mike Feeney will probably have these and I hear that sometimes the OEM Nissan shocks are VERY reasonably priced. I've never replaced front shocks myself, but it doesn't look too difficult and as long as you can blag a decent (safe) pair of spring compressors then I'd reckon a couple of hours tops.

I recently had a leaking f/shock replaced, part was supplied by Nissan and it cost £146.78. My mechanic charged me £50 labour to fit it.

Geoff.
