Replacing HICAS arm!

Hello all, my drivers side HICAS arm has snapped :rolleyes: just wondering whats involved in replacing, is it a fairly simple job to?? any recommendations would be great thanks :)

snapped? what, all on its own?!?

 

you need to remove the arm at the hub end, the rubber boots covering the arms at the rear rack, lock the opposite side arm in the rack & undo the arm you want to remove.

 

count the turns that the track rod end takes to remove & install on the new one.

 

get a 4 wheel alignment done

yep snapped all on its own, i hit a pot hole doing 80mph sent the car accross the road could of been nasty! it sounds a fairly easy job to do. at he moment the steering wheel is well out, i take it the rear tracking can effect this?? thanks for your help
