Does anyone have a MAF that they'd be willing to let me try on my car? The car was acting the same this morning as it did when it got soaked :(

 

I'd just like to find out if the thing has packed up.

Thanks again for your advice on the phone mate - I've got an order sent off for an a'pexi filter from Danny.

I think it's time to pray to the MAF god for a delivery!! ;) or see what's available on eBay, Courtesy or if the worst comes to the worst Nissan.....

 

A'PEXi is a good move, dispose of that HKS Mushroom 'sponge' filter.

 

I'll put the PTU in the post to you Monday, if you find you don't need it can you forward it onto someone else once I have their details as they may need it (same situation as you, try the main things and cross them off the list of 'maybe' problems)

 

No problem with the phone call, that's what this place is for :)

Thanks mate - I'll give that PTU a try, attach the new filter when it arrives and pray to that MAF god that the thing isn't rogered, or if it is, I'll be able to get my hands on one sharpish.

Just did an ECU diag and it showed up a 12 and a 13 - first time it's showed anything other than a 55.
