No popups here, except PMs, and you can even turn that off - I think you've got some sort of web lurgy. Get SpySweeper installed!

Its not this forum. you have some spyware running. Do you have Kazaa installed?

Click on the try it for free on the right of the screen, install it, do an up date and run it.

it will search for known spyware.

have you all heard of the virus, was in the paper today. A popup comes on your computer, installs a virus then waits for you to logon to banks, records keystrokes then sends info the the virus maker. Mainly affecting barclays and Lloyds Tsb. Be aware!

ocne you have fixes the spyware problems, ditch all that IE and popup stopper cra and just get mozilla firefox, http://www.mozilla.org its far superior.

I use Barclays On-line banking, and they combated this problem quite a few months back now. Yes you press in you personal number and other stuff, but for your password all you do is use your mouse to locate the appropriote letters, thus no keystroke. I'm also told that at least two other banks use this same system.

 

I also use Panicwear's Pop-Up-Stopper and give everything a sweep with Spy-Bot S&D which works very well. No Pop-Ups or crap on my PC :D

To block popups use the Google toolbar. Best one iv found so far.

 

Also get Spybot and Adaware to get rid of spyware.

 

Update your AV software too as theres a lot of viruses going round at the moment.
