If you're referring to vacumn gauges, then yes.

No, the electrical ones! i dont mind if the stock reads wrong, as long as it works and that my aftermarket one works too and is correct!

What guages are you talking about matt ?.

They may not be calibrated for the stock gauge so you will get incorrect readings.

Electrical gauges work on resistence. The scale may not be the same.

Lucky the dash temp sensor is the same scale as the dial I got.

HOWEVER, because the signal was shared it did mean it read under slightly. For example when I disconnected the aftermarket one, the dash needle would move up a degree or 2 and the same when I disconnected the dash one with the aftermarket one.

You need to clarify which gauges - they're all electrical on a Z.

Sorry people, I've got an oil one with a sender, and i wanted to know if i could run both stock and aftermarket off the NEW sender, i'm not worryed if the stock oil gauge is correct or not, just as long as the aftermarket one is. I just dont like things that dont work on the dash :D

the only thing that works on the dash is the rev counter. the rest are shite.
