Compression test

Think I read somewhere that you can perform a test without a compression tester... is this true, if so how?

I think you mean a powerbalance-test ?

Hey Lymon, your software looks most impressive I must admit! Since, you're software is doing the math here.....What are your thoughts on this (from the Mines web site):

...I ask because I'm planning more than 450bhp from my engine mods.....

Cheers Bud.

I think in your case it's best to switch over to 2 seperate intakes.

This will reduce the signal the standard AFM produces and it will give you maximum airflow.

Other option is to have 2 seperate intakes, 2 AFM's and an S-AFC (Apexi) to combine the two signals into one.

In both cases you are going to need a reprogrammed ECU for this.(eg. the dual Intake JWT-ECU)

This is quite a common upgrade for high powered Z's.

To be honest, I don't think this Mines AFM is going to do much better then the Nissan AFM, since the airflow is going to be restricted by the diameter of the AFM and not by the maximum signal it can produce.

Since the diameter needs to be the same as the stock AFM (otherwise it won't fit) there can't be much difference.

Thanks for that Eric. You last comment about not making much difference is why I posted my question in the first place.

Thanks again smile.gif
