In all honesty this was just gonna be a bit of inter club banter, (besides its probably the only site that my car isnt on lol). yes, if we know who somebody is they are allowed a bit more leeway.

 

'ask them if they fancied upgrading to a 'propper' car' doesnt look like he was going to just post a link to his car. Added to the fact that if its on ebay that means he's selling it and non-members are not allowed to sell stuff on our BBS so it would have been removed anyway.

it was raining yesterday and i had a great time between the two clubs

till i was banned (nothing to offensive)

I wont have a go at Supra owners but the couple i have met have been totally up them selves and look down their noses at you as if they were gods

some times you have to do as Worzil would do and change heads and have a laugh

as I say, if we had know who it was or they had registered with a different name it would never have happened. Timmy Turbo got picked off a few months ago for the same thing, I had no idea it was him and thought it was just another troll and so his account got banned and his posts removed.

 

Take a look through our chit chat section and you can see we let stuff wander along, we also have a members section in which things are allowed even more offtopic, but we prefer to keep things seriously under control in the other sections.

 

If scoops wants to register as himself and do the post then its okay, might be interesting to see how the other members react.

It was as ive said all along just meant to be a bit of inter club rivalry, i was even going to suggest you could all chip in and burn it infront of the 300zx owners at billing. It was just a laugh.. nothing more.. its a shame you lot seem to have a sense of humour bypass...

 

When it was suggested that a shootout should be arranged between the gto boys and the 300 owners alot of inter club stick was thrown about but it was all in good faith and quite a laugh.. Just aswell they dont ban things that MIGHT be offensive.

 

And as for the comment about if id registered under my own name you would have known who i was... B@LLOCKS. Youre telling me everytime you get a new member you trawl the other car boards looking for the same user name to see if the person is genuine.????... not a chance.

And no, if he had come back to us and proven to be serious about posting on our BBS we would have asked him to change his username. He would have also had the usual number of new member posts before being asked to pay. But now we will never know what witty banter would have been said.
