My name is Steve from the NPOC and I would like to invite your members along to a rolling road power run day that I have organised. Firstly here are the details:

THE PRICE

£20 per car (PAY ON THE DAY, CASH ONLY)

 

The above figure is provided we have a minimum of ten cars on the day.

 

THE ARRANGEMENTS

Andy Urwin is used to handling car club days and recently did a Peugeot day where 45 cars showed up. Each car will only take around ten minutes to sort out and you will received a printed power output graph to keep. You must send me a PM with your Username, Car Club, Car Model and Reg Plate. On the day, Andy will shout out reg plates in turn then you go up and pay your £20 CASH and Andy will get you on the road. If you turn up and your reg isn't read out, you haven't sent me a PM to book your place. I am making it pay on the day for simplicity but taking details to give Andy an estimated turnout figure and also to avoid a barrage of novas turning up on the day. You guys in the 300zx club are very welcome to come out and play but it is important to let you know that Andys roller will handle around 480bhp so if you are up towards 500bhp then this won't help you. I am inviting the Almeras, the Micras, the 200sx and the 300zx so I hope you guys can turn out for us and show us some animals in action!! Thanks a lot.

Anymore takers get your names down as I am going to put a cap on how many cars may take part. A few more clubs have been invited and we'd love to see some zeds down there.

Just a couple of points to make further to above:

 

1. Aswell as the info I have requested earlier, I also need to know what mods your car has. Stick to engine mods please, I don't need to know what stereo you have!

 

2. Please pay some attention to the condition of your car. Andy will let you through but it's at your risk so look at things like oil leaks and bad tyres and make a decision whether your car is in condition for a test.

 

3. Andy or Russ will perform the test. They will take your car from you at the doors and do the 'driving' themselves so you don't have to worry about not getting the best from your car during the test. Only these two lads are qualified to be near the rollers so don't ask to do it yourself!!

Guys, I've had to cancel this, I hope my message gets through to everyone. Not through any fault of my own, I had a call from Andy Urwin informing me that he has decided to go on holiday when I was booked in. Just splendid, hope he gets a nice tan! He did offer me the week before but this is a donny event and a lot of people on various clubs have swapped work days etc to be able to come along in the first place so there is too much admin in trying to re-arrange. I shall send PMs to the guys who had booked up to come along, again sorry but really nothing I could do about it. Thanks a lot.
