As I've just posted on the For Sale and Wanted, I found a Z that seemed fine. This meant I had to decide if I was really going to buy one - and the answer was: no. Those rear seats are just too useless.

 

So, any suggestions for what I should get instead? (I know, wrong place to ask). I'd like

 

sports car (or at least "grand tourer") performance and handling

 

targa top or convertible.

 

4 seats, where the kids (girls, 13 and 10 - but the 13 year old's already 5'7") can sit relatively comfortably.

 

I suspect I can't have all three, so what's the best compromise?

Could try a skyline or 200sx I suppose but then......

You really can't squeeze the kids in for the sake of owning a Z? (The 2+2 boot is larger than you might think, y'know... )

 

I can fit two mates in the passenger side of the car and they're both six footers, though admittedly there ain't no way anyone's fitting behind my seat...

 

What about the Mitsi GTO? That's a hulking great beast, there must be room in there (sorry!)

Plenty of room and you can fit and aftermarket Turbo... I have seen one in a magazine with 1000 bhp !!!!!

Oh man, are you that blind that you cannot see! Z...no way, Supra...no way. You ain't gonna get a 2dr that will satisfy yer needs dude man

 

Scooby, Evo, Sapphire Cossie etc. is where you need to plant your money!

 

However, I did see a GTO at Wesco with a baby seat in the back, but then again, baby seats don't need the 2 inch legroom do they?

 

One of my mates had a Celica(not new shape) cabriolet but always said that the rear seat space was non-existenZZZZ!!!

 

4dr like a Skylark maybe your only option, but get the GT-R upgrade and be oh soooo happy with da boost geeZer!
