After much talk on here about the Lambo doors for a Z It never really interested me.However after seeing them today in the flesh at the Notts show I will be having a pair. :duffer:

Depends on the quality of the parts and workmanship, there are some very cheap versions which are not good, and are unsuitable for the 300ZX.

The cheap ones would be OK for a Honda CRX, but not a ZED.

 

You pay for what you get at the end of the day.

even at £1k retail for the kit, £1.5k to fit it is bonkers!

£2500 for a glorified HINGE??? Are they diamond encrusted?? Do they come with a nubile young swedish girl to open and close them for you?? :rofl: Sorry mate but that really is taking the proverbial IMO.

As my post mentions it depends on which kit you are buying.

No where does it say I am supplying the same kit, and then charging £1500 to fit!!!

 

Get you facts straight first.

 

The kit I am fitting comes to £2200 retail, so I am charging £300 to have fitted by a Ferrari approved bodyshop. I only sell items which I would be happy to fit to my own car, and by people who I trust to do a good job.

 

If you want to fit rubbish then dont expect to get anything other than a poor substitute.

FFS, what does the kit consist of to be worth £2200??????

Post up some piccies of the hinges and of one of the kits fitted for us to all have a look at...

Done some more reserach on a suitable alternative Lambo Door kits, and looked for a specific kit for the 300ZX, as an alternative to my current system available as the price seems to be offensive to some of you.

 

I have found from one of my other suppliers sucha kit designed for the 300ZX it would cost retail £900 inc VAT, or a groupbuy could be done with a minimum order of 10 and get this down to £800. This is for the kit alone and doesnt include fitting.
