Saab Intercooler

Morning all,

Speaking to a friend yesterday he said that the SAAB 900 Intercooler is larger than the 300zx and pretty much straight swap with one of the Zeds ones.

Obviously you would need to find to saab900 turbos in the scrappers because they only have one ic each.

 

Anyone else heard this. Is this a cheap viable/upgrade?

    I've seen loads of the 200 boys doing it but as for Z's I don't know, if it was an 'upgrade' I'm sure there would be loads of people on here that would have already done it!!

     

    So my feeling is it's a no go unless you have a 200......

    Used to own a MX-5 (BBR Turbo;)) and the Saab intercooler swap was sometimes done for these cars but haven't heard it done for a Zed...
