Just to announce that my position of club sec is coming up for a vote as I am leaving the role!!

 

I have enjoyed helping the club progress and working as part of the team in admin!

 

Thanks to everyone that has helped and contributed, and I hope my successor enjoys it as much as I have!

well as this is going to be a vote I presume we will need to nominate (as members) the votees so I would like to put Jock forward for the above post as I feel he is a well qualified and more than capable of doing the role justice

It sounds as though nominations are going to be made a Billing, correct? If they are, we need to set a time and date where anyone who wants to participate knows to be around.

just mt 2p, but i think it would be unfair to do this at billing as you are then restricting the access of members who for whatever reason cant attend

Vote online, Post up a thread leave it open for 2 weeks or longer ? This way Anyone that wants to have their say can vote before the cut off date, then just count up the votes on the thread you can't say any fairer than that, this way every mortal member of the club will have input. (I won't be voting for TONY BLAIR) :rofl: :D :rofl:

LOL! this is a good point actually. I think it would be a good idea to have a post listing all comitee members & their roles & duties :)
