Makes sense mate, was going with the whole Wings West idea but like you said...fibreglass and I've seen some ropey fibreglass in my time.

 

Worst had to be a Caprice 2.8injection I had, had a deep club spoiler on the front. Took the car into National Tyres for some brakes and they must have used one of their fookin' TRUCK jacks to get it off the ground!!!

 

Result?? Fucked front spoiler where the jack handle/pole had taken a lovely chunk outta the lip!

 

Not saying that can't happen with anything else, but the paint chipped like a twat aswell!!!

 

Now all I need is that lovely spoiler from PB for the arse end!!! LARGE!

 

You won't be disappointed with it matey its great.YOU dont have to worry about speed bumps you can glide over em at 90mph!

No on a serious note they flex really well, and for some reason dont chip as easey as fibreglass.

I quite like the style of the one that SE does, but it is to low and have yet to see one that ain't dammaged

Aiii, not bothered too much, Kirk takes all the stick during the week and he's a mere 450 squid fully comp.

 

Z will be garaged during the week, security code laser perimiter alarm on the garage, claymore mines on the drive, I will have the ONLY key to the garage...Mrs. has already been informed about this. Told her that she can have the 4 acres, the house, garden etc. etc. I just want the driveway and the garage.

 

 

You think I'm joking, oh well nay I is not!!! Apparently I found out on Monday that my house used to be a Rozzer station...fookin' hell!!! LMAO! Which explains the outside toilet...good effort...so as you can see...I can sleep with the car at weekends and still have all the amenities I need.

 

Insurance, mega limited mileage basically! Weekend driver as I honestly don't trust the Z to be reliabel enough to do nearly 500 miles a week without any hiccups! Kirk is not perfect but is alot more robust as a daily driver.

 

Bloody hell Timbo, look on the bright side. What on earth are you spending all this cash for if it's only going to sit in the garage ?

You'll change your mind a bit when you've built up some confidence in your new super-reliable Z. look at some of the mileages people have done here ... Just spend your money wisely (good oil) and treat it gently (when cold).

I'm moving house soon, and am going to have build the mother of all garages to keep the soon-to-be-purchased z in (the house already has a garage...but i figured it won't be wide enough !)

 

i'll park the BM on the road. cause i'll replace the drive with a garage big enough for a z and a place for me to sleep with one arm over it, tv, fridge etc. etc. ;o) - gf might not like this though ;o(

You just know it makes sense geeZer...LOL!

probably the only way that i'd get any sleep...what with the girlfriend's whining, and my paranoia about some dirty thief getting his paws on my car while i'm asleep.

 

solution, as you've pointed out, sleep with the car ;o)

 

if the stories about how much they end up costing you are even half way true, it's got to be cheaper and less hassle than the misses ;o)
