Finally got the wideband sensors in my car and Leighs rigged up this weekend.

Top notch kit. Cheers to Leon at Alunox for sorting out the bosses so quickly.

Now got my original sensors disconnected and this one rigged up to the ECU instead.

Also got mine rigged up to log MAF voltage, TPS and coolant temp too. Now going to get 2 EGT's in the old lambda bosses and maybe a one in the TB to get charge temp. The software with it will log all of that + AFR and RPM in real time at 10ms intervals. Even without the PC connected up you just hit a button on the unit and it records it for download later.

Got mine displayed on the profec E01, Leigh's has the tech edge display unit.

Immediately showed up that as we suspected the det problem on Leighs car was due to lean running, maxxed out stock injectors. AFR ~13.5 on full load!

Was going to do some mapping on mine but bust the cable on my emulator so couldn't.

John what was the total cost of the diy kit and the tech edge display unit ??

John's absolutely right, this weekend has really shown up two things. Firstly, what a great tool the Techedge sensor is and the potential it has to be a VERY worthwhile tuning aid and secondly, what a craftsman Leon is! Good to have confirmation that the root of the problem is definately the injectors not being able to cope... :nelson: ;)

Was a crackin' blast in the Zed's over to Wrexham on Saturday mate, my clutch is still in recovery... ;) And Lucie and I had a great time today, cheers for the feed bud, I won't need to eat again for another two weeks now!

Hi John

So you'd recomend it? I'm thinking I might let you talk me into it when my car is run in. Don't want to blow it up after spending a load of Money.

Depends what you want it for really. Unless you plan to do tuning with it I'd probably go for a det sensor instead.

Ideally I like to just avoid it detting all to gether, not just know when it is. The question is exactly how do I do that. Unfortunatly I don't understand the read outs or how to interpret them?

I wasn't made for that sort of thing my attension span with computor gizmos is very short.

P.S. Sorry John what was the name of the Yank crowd for the Tie Bars
