I've just been outside finally getting round to replacing my PCV valves and all the hoses.
I started on the driver's side as that's apparently easier... I've managed to remove the main hose - the one that connects to the PCV valve. Removing the PCV valve itself is proving to be a major pain in the arse. :(
I have a deep 19mm socket, but I presume it must be too deep as when it's on the valve, there's no way of attaching anything to it as the pipes from the brake master cylinder get in the way. A "less deep" socket won't go onto it properly.
Can someone who's done this tell me which tool is the best to use for this? Should I just go and buy a 19mm spanner (as if I have one, I can't find the ****ing thing! ), or won't that fit either?
Are there any other tools I should buy at the same time for when I try replacing some of the other hoses or the valve on the other side?
Thanks
