Went in for routine auto-gearbox service and told that there is a major fault with the box. Won't be back for at least a week.

The only upside is that it's covered by the warranty so thats £1150 saved :D

Dont we know it, I drove mine for 4 days after purchase, its now at SE, has been for a week nearly , evidently the running problrm that occured after the pas belt snapped is done, but the rear main is still to do, still do not know whether the car will be back for the weekend. Hopefully they will be phoning today to let me know the score.

I have, but at least I spread mine out a bit. :D I spend one month driving and then three months remembering what the one month was like.

TBH, I am awaiting for the warranty company to give the go-ahead to the garage, so that they can continue and strip down the gearbox properly and accurately ascertain the fault. However, as there are a lot of warranty firms being scammed, they want to see the Zd's service records, the records MUST be as per their own requirement at the correct intervals, if not then they WONT pay up. If they can get out of not paying, they will!! :(

Luckily my mate owns the garage, so hopefully no prob's :x: ;)
