whats the best method of getting the zed in the air to work under? currently I jack up the front with axel stands but would like a way of having it level with all 4 wheels off of the ground

 

also what axel stands are best, I use halfords at the moment, but they arnt wide enough and cause jack scars.

Mike, I use the Halfords stands but place a block of 2x4" wood between them and the car. Works for me.. ;)

2 sets of Axel stands! thats what i use!

yup, i used 2 up front and 2 at the back, was up there for 3 months on them, and plenty stable, even when i clanked an engine onto the mountsl! :O

I have had 2 sets of Halfords stands for about 9 yrs now mate and like others have said place 2x4 in between the car and the stand if you dont want to mark under the car....
