I aint in IT and carn't think of anything so dull. :x:

Depends what you mean by dull...

I get paid to travel around the country and meet people - how is that dull? Even when I'm in the office I'm usually on the phone gassing. (I'm in pre-sales.)

OTOH I couldn't sit in front of a compiler all day, but both jobs are "IT".

Doesnt look tatty Al from the pics...

nah I guess ya right. She looks quite nice with a coat of polish, but got the odd dink, scratch, scuff etc. She also runs well, but know that every moving part is tired, autobox lazy, bushes need doing, shockers, hoses, working my way through the engine slowly. Hopefully Baggins will tell me whats what there. Just gotta look at it as long term project and hope she dont let me down in the meantime as its me daily drive.

p.s. I love my IT job, get to chat up totty, totty and more totty all day long. Lifes great aint it! :)

No IT here either, I'm an artist (waiting for someone to insert the word p1ss now...;)).

No regular income and running a Zed...didn't think that one through too well did I...

Bugger

I've sold IT systems and IT people but sales is sales and I enjoy that part of my job. I used to work in Advertising until the Mac became God. That was when proper Graphic Artist got paid well. I saw what the Mac Ment and left Advertising. Adverts may be visually more intense, but adds arn't as good because computors don't get pissed and have off the wall ideas. I know your going to say that computors are driven by people, but Mac designers work more on there own. It's not like the old creative teams. When you had a block you went and got pissed.

I still think computors are dull. Its just a tool. You don't hear people saying oh I work in saws or corkscrews. Their all just tools and tools are just a journey to an end product thats been speciffied by someone else.
