This Zed ownership thing is becomming a bit of a bu66er. Now, after spending thousands, I need a gearbox rebuild as my second synchro is apparently bu66ered. Does anyone know of a good place to take it to have the job done. I live in Reading, (I know, but someone has to!!) so the clsoer the better. Definately losing heart in it now but it's gotta be fixed. Any ideas would be great. Cheers. :cry:

Try getting a quote from 3D Transmissions- Gt Knollys Street. Also jonnyd reckons that garage up by the Grovsner, Kidmore Rd, Cavy Heights looks at Zeds, or theres always Brad in Wantage- he seems to be ok on zeds, but not sure about boxes- his No. is 01235 867455. He sorted me out when I had a wrong diagnosis from someone else and was good value.

 

Sorry to hear things going shite with the zed. If theres anything else I can do, gimme a shout. I need to see that zed back round the village + we need you up and running for the Oxon meet.
