Yes thats the one, I think the SWB slick top TT has to be one of my fav zeds

Why slick top? The Targas are pretty much the only reason I'm staying with the Z... I can think of dozens of lighter, tighter, quicker coupes than the Z. Even the SWB is a lard-arse.

down to taste and some of us are true enthusiasts ;)

mark has one of the rarest zeds in the world as it is, why not make it two lol :)

Thanks Mike!

I think the slick top flows with lines of the zed, also the more stable roof might mean less flex in the chassis!

I would say the T top was as strong as a slick top Mark.anyway you don't have a roof so you must wibble and wobble everywhere:D:D;)

Lol, there's plenty of flex in a targa top chassis - try jacking up one corner and then opening and closing the doors or hatch !

All cars do that;)

can usually tell how much flex is in the roof of a car when it's covered in Ice and you drive round a corner.

My Targa were cracking their little socks off last winter.

Yeah, or stick your finger against the gap where the targa meets the a pillar then corner really hard - you can feel the gap close up.

I honestly think that's probably the reason why the Z's handling is so shite, more to do with not having a solid base to bolt things to that just weight.

Oh yes, hadn't thought about flex!

Which is unusual, normally I think about flex every 30 seconds.

Group buy on roof height strut braces anyone?

Why dont you sell it then?

Why dont you sell it then?

Because it's f*cked and it owes me a fortune!

And it makes a good GT - and because it HAS targas - hence why I would never bother with a slick-top!

LOL, I know the feeling. I don't think I would get anything near what it cost me. Fecking cars  :)
