I went on a bike awareness day today organised by the local police, started at 7 am, pissing with rain and looking well moody. By the time the classroom stuff had been done, 9am, sun splitting the trees, out on my Firestorm with a bike cop following me for 6 hours giving it the absolute berries, had to fill up twice while I was out, what a blinding day. The "rules of engagement" were that 30/40/50 limits had to be observed (which I tend to do anyway, Honestly ;)) but the rest of the day it was more "playful" took me a bit of time to trust in the fact that it wasnt a setup and the guy wasnt going to nick me, and the look on some motorists faces, me blasting by on an open piped 1000cc v-twin, closely followed by a fully liveried bike cop, must have looked like one of those chase videos :):):) :hyper:

LOL, I did one of these with the Leicestershire Police, It was a great day, the policeman was a friend of a friend and he knew i was a qiuck rider and for the first hour or two, needless to say it felt funny, but i soon got used to it and the rest of the day was great.

Rich:)

lol, I'm surprised no one pulled out in front of you thinking that would be assisting the copper to stop you lmao !!!

Sounds like a top day out! The Police may not be knee and elbow down nutters, but they are SERIOUSLY quick on the road :nono:
