I thought these where meant to be random numbers?

I got 2 lucky dips and both started 10, 38, 47

A 10 12 20 38 42 47 Lucky Dip

B 10 23 29 38 46 47 Lucky Dip

I thought they where meant to be random. How the hell are they random. I know computers can not generate a random number, but the code to make it do so is totally naff.

You know they have just as much chance of winning as any other set of numbers LOL .

they both have the same odds of coming up

Yeah they are the same 16.4 million to 1 of coming up or what ever it is, but there is less chance of me getting any numbers.

You have more chance of being struck by lightning....twice

on the same day, as you have of getting the jackpot!

Doesn't stop me doing it though!!

You wont be complaining when your watching the lottery on Saturday and the first three numbers to come up are 10, 38 and 47..... Aye you wish

decent random number generators base their 'seed' on something that changes, like the time & date. shoite ones are used in national lottery lucky dip machines. ah too late... :)

could be worse m8 you could have the one ive got starting with 13 14 15 16 something tells me i better get another one as thats got no chance

LOL EVERY ticket has EXACTLY the same chance of winning!!!!!

Yes even

1 2 3 4 5 6

That would be fooking funny because the payout would probably be about £50 each...

LOL EVERY ticket has EXACTLY the same chance of winning!!!!!

Yeah so as kia hints at, you're best picking something obscure so in the event of a win you don't share the pot with so many people.

Or just not doing it at all - after 5 years I'm at least 3-400 quid up by following that strategy. :D

try playing the scratch card games on their website, that is such a fix as well

are there really that many people that get hit by lightning twice on the same day then???

  • Author

Actually one people have been hit by lightning and survived, there chances of being hit again is greatly increased.

I think the record for being hit by lightning is 11 times or something.

yeah, but theres normally a jackpot winner once a week or whatever, so is there someone everyweek that get hit by lighning twice then?? LOL

  • Author

Well more than 6 people got hit by lighthining twice in one day because 6 people won yesterday ;)

so whats the odds of a jackpot winner being hit by lighning twice in 1 day then??? :D
