Absolutely gutted :( Just shunted the zed.

I went into the back of someone on the motorway today, the usual palava, everybody suddenly brakes for some unknown reason  further up the queue and I got caught out. Couldnt go left or right as there was a car alongside me and the central reserve on the other side. Hit the cars left hand rear, my right side front.

I'll post some pictures up later when my camera has charged with a plea for advice :)

Reckon its repairable but I dont need this :( It still drives, after I freed up the LHS intake hoses. Will need new bumper, headlight, foglight, wing, bonnet, and some work on the cross member above the headlight, and what ever else I find. :( I'm gutted.

Told my insurance to sort the other car out and I'll fix/sell/break mine :( depending on the money involved.

Cheers

Pete

Pete - I have an entire front end (unbent) to replace all the slam panels etc if you're interested ;) I can just chop it out and let you have it... I also have a front bumper and headlight, in fact that whole corner! Only downside is that its in grey so will be slightly slower than the rest of your car ;) Bumper isn't in A1 condition but hey if it gets your car lookin straight ;) Only worry from looking at those pictures is that it looks like its hit the end of the chassis leg - fingers crossed thats still straight ;)

Absolutely gutted for you bud :(

Unlucky Pete.. :( Hope that you can sort out the damage and get her back on the road soon mate

Cheers Mickey - I'll be in touch depending on what I intend to do :)

Cos, lemme get the damage looked at first before committing, but yeah I'd be interested in selling it to be repaired if its easier than repairing :)

It might not be that much to sort, with used parts, as long as I can get the crossmember straightened fine. The other stuff is bolt on bits I guess.

Cheers

Fook Pete! Glad your ok, I bet your gutted :( Let me know if there is anything I could help with.

shit pete - i know what it feels like when it happens :( hope you get it sorted ok bud.

Grim :( Sorry to hear about that. I think most of the queues on motorways these days are caused by speed restricted lorries trying to overtake each other when there is only a fraction of an MPH difference between them. :xxx:

Hope you can get it sorted without having to resort to putting Baggins back on the game!

Take it easy!

Remember old eastern proverb "out of disaster, comes retribution"

bigger better faster stronger :D :D

Sorry to hear this m8, I'm sure you'll soon have her sorted again though.

It looks like the inner wing is still intact which will save a lot of work, that would have been a right PITA to replace.

Because he don't have access to a multi million pound development/fabrication plant?

Gutted to hear that Pete - at least you're ok

I have a red UK spec front bumper going spare if you're interested.
