Hi All,

 

With the growth of the club and each of our roles becoming busier myself and Ajay have decided to spread our workload!

 

What we need are a couple of people to fill the postions of National events sec and membership sec!

 

With the National events sec, you would be expected to facilitate the clubs representation at the major national events, e.g. Billing, Trax, Japfest and others, that the members feel we need to honour with our presence!

 

With the membership secretary, this would involve activation of membership accounts, liasing with non-members and members, to promote membership of the club and distribution of membership packs/goods!

 

If you think you are up to it, give us a shout!

It might be just me, but how about we start a trend and elect these posts ??

To be truthful Jock we have so few people crossing the line that elections would be a bit of a joke, anybody else want to put themselves forward!

Agree with the above - but we're relying on people putting themselves forward first... Kirbz has put himself in the frame for this one. If anyone else volunteers then we could put it to the vote.. If not, he takes the job on!

Well when I have asked for help with other areas like local events organisers we haven't had a lot of people offering their services, with some areas of the country not covered now, so elections would be a non entity when there is only person stepping forward for the post!

 

Don't get me wrong, I hope there are lot of people putting themselves forward for nomination!

I do know what you mean Mark i think it would be a difficult thing to put to vote as most people on here dont actually know many people...well in person anyway!! on here.

 

I off now to make up some campaign brochers and posters for the election :)

Indeed they both get my vote, does anyone else want to enter the running, if noone comes forward in the next seven days I think it would be reasonable to let them crack on with the job!!

 

Shunter we do not have a south west events organiser so if you want the job it is yours?
