Sorry James300 i know that you recommended them but here's my story.

My Z went in with door damage.Their estimate was for a new door and labour etc. all approved by insurers.

They said they'd need the car for about a week, no probs so i gave them about a months notice before taking it in, plenty of time to order parts etc.??

They actually took FOUR weeks to complete work saying that they had two damaged doors delivered and blamed probs with staffing. But i was happy in the end cos door looked great.

After getting Z home noticed that remote alarm had been rewired wrong and was arming when unlocking. no probs i thought, just take trim off and swop wires,so i did..and found the Bast**ds had used a second hand door!!!

Also found crazing in paint on front and rear bumpers(from low bake oven?).

Needless to say i was less than happy now and i told them so when i phoned :x: (think i invented some swear words)

They admitted all, couldn't really deny it i suppose and r taking car back to replace door, respray bumpers etc.i'm reluctant to go back but cant think of any other options.

so u can make your own minds up but i certainly will never use them again.

Nick

Really sorry to hear this mate :( And I'm surprised. Not with the wait cos the amount of time mine took was just ridiculous. But the actual paint job was absolutely faultless.

I don't know these people personally btw, just used them a few times before and have been excellent each time.

Poor show this time and don't blame you for never using them again. Sorry again mate.

James are these the same lot as you know what I am going to ask?

that buggered up his panels you mean Iain

Ryan you knob, you know that do you? If not then I would suggest you keep your comments to yourself. This is a touchy subject for me as its already left me way out of pocket and I've kept it off the forum SO FAR.

Iain, this is the same people but don't see the relevance?

James , get off your fooking soapbox , I am well aware of the issues you have regarding this , and the people involved

Anyone for cricket?

But not aware of the facts, so to say something like "that buggered up his panels you mean Iain" just winds me up. I don't even know the facts myself.

No soapbox mate, just asking you to think before you type something.

****in hell you don't ask much do you James :x:
