My brakes are shot.

 

More accurately, my brakes only just work.

 

What do you lot recommend for disks/pads? I don't wanna pay too much, though!

I think the chances of me ever getting a decent price from Phuong have just gone totally out the window...

I'd say about 7.30->8pm for me too if I come straight from work.. Allowing time for the circular carpark that is the M25!

 

Reminds me I need to put some air in my front left tyre on the Ren.. feels a bit flat! Oops.. (Hard to tell with skinny tyres aint it..)

I'd reccomend the porterfield R4S pads. Very notitable difference from stock. Also, you don't have to bed them in unless you are running new discs.

 

I have been told they are more suitable for very high speed braking than MM, but MM are more suitable for the US market, lower speeds. It would be interesting to do some kind of comparision to see if there is any difference!
