Just wondering, all the people that post in the day, why aintcha working?

 

Seems alot of people get to use the net at work, quite often forgetting to work. I used to do that and I ended up quitting lol cos it was so boring and relaxed.

 

Right now im not employed, I'm a bit of a Del Boy, and im getting my flat ready to sell it, so I have alot of spare time inbetween painting etc.

Thats the art of delegation for you , get the underlings to work :p :cool: , at the moment I am very lucky with the job I have :cool:

Yea was the same for me, but I just got so bored I could feel my brain deteriorating... sometimes the money isnt worth it, lifes too short etc :D

Well I guess I work from home, but the sites I own run themselves so not much to do. I only bother developing them for a few days a month lol.

Ya my last job was IT manager at a solicitors, I had 2 monkey under me and well, I made sure there was never anything left for me to do :P I spent most of the time e-mailing the girls there and downloading films (after I got a 2mbit adsl line put in). Bloody boring!

I am the boss of IT at this site (and the site boss too, now :()

 

We've been running down towards the end for 3 years now .. there was 133 of us here, now there's 10 :cry:

 

Not that I didn't surf this site on and off all day anyhow .. but I always found ALT+TAB very useful in the past ..

Me a lazy I.T. git too. Sometimes work a late shift and was chilling one evening with Radio 1 on the net, surfing 300zx and feet well up on the desk-nearly horizantal pigging my face when the blimin IT director came bursting through the door. I'd been caught so didnt even bother jumping up. Just acted :cool: .

 

You could see in his face he was thinking :nono: :slap:

But I still got me job and had me contract renewed :dance:

Had a job where i was ou the house from 6am till 7pm every day mon to fri changed jobs and now work from home.......best thing i every did.....just sent my son to fetch me another stella.....life is good

yep- thats where me wanna be soon- I got me B&B, and my wifes business got loads of potential- guess I am just scared to take the final plunge- just get rid of last bit of debt- but thats difficult when owning a zed

I'm sposed to be doing a thesis but i just cant be assed.

I have lots of days where I leave the house at 5am and get back at 10pm, so I don't feel too guilty about surfing on the days when I am in the office and it's quiet. When it's not quiet I don't surf, which is why you probably notice a shedload of posts from me and then nothing for three days!

 

I'm lucky to be in a team that appreciates what life in pre-sales is like - it's pretty much policy that if you haven't got much on, put your feet up, and save your energy for the next crisis...
