The Cost of every thing to do with this car.

The fact you always seem to be aiming at the next project on it and you've already spent 10 times more on it than you've got or the cars worth.

What really gets me is if I'd have saved all the money I've spent on her I could have had a Noble GTO 3 400R. BRAND NEW

So why the fook don't I just tourch the bloody thing. :nono:

Wo betide anyone who try's it.

There's no sense in love :D

Hit the nail bang on the head there mate!! :p

The only thing i dont like is the c**p turning circle, but the passanges seat can be quite pain

apart from that its the best car i have ever owned

Eddie

Said this before - the way the front wipers insist on doing an extra wipe when you switch them off. Not a major prob but can be annoying when the screen is already dry

Steve

yeah, and a stalk is better than a rotary switch !

Too lardy.

Bit laggy.

No steering wheel adjustment (and stock wheel quite big, makes quick footwork in the twisties very difficult, get my knees in a tangle). I'm hoping fitting a wheel just a couple of inches smaller will make the difference!

Targas weigh a ton.

Not much storage considering it's a tourer.

Can't use a lot of petrol pumps at full whack because the neck is too narrow.

They never break until you've JUST spent enough to make it worth keeping instead of swapping for something else, and you get sucked in...

I like HICAS, but I agree it interferes with drifting.

No room to do anything in the engine or under the car.

Some of the above are fixable with mods... but the weight of it is really starting to do my turnip.

The only thing I don't like about my Z is the invisible car magnet, which makes every dumb son-of-a-bitch around it crash into it!

Other than that, nothing. I love everything about the car (which is why I'm on my second one!)

yea the f in gearbox :xxx: :xxx:

mines broke again

steve

Well, you will 'drive it like you stole it!'

I don't like the way that the fookin seat belt never goes back properly, that's probably yet another fault though!

I've got a list of faults longer than the longest long thing!

And you bought one because?.... lol ;)

I found if you turn the pump handle towards the back (so its horizontal with the car) it cures that problem. Still have problems with some pumps but then they are probably just Knackered.

Cheers

...I could make a much longer list for anything else you can buy for 5k!

Wasn't too heavy when I first got one - it's just having a heavy RWD TT nutter for a while means my hard driving has improved to the point where I want a light RWD NA as well. ;)

The way the wiper blades slow down and struggle when on at about 120mph. Obviously on track days officer ;)

Oh and sometimes when I try and open the door when parking to see how close i am to the kerb/white line on the drivers side and forget my seatbelt is on!!! :slap:

I would of liked adjustable steering coloumn, sometimes just cant seem to get comfortable.

4 Years ago I said the same thing, my zed has height adjustable seats so with a few wiggles of the leccy switches, I found the right position, and adjustend myself to the steering position.

Waiting ages to fill up fuel tank is another.

Enduring tossers who like your car so much they like to sit up your arse in traffic to have a good look, just before you go from 40 to 120 in 3rd

Turn the nozzel upside down. Works for me

Turn the nozzel upside down. Works for me

me too!

Yes indeede, figured that out after a week of zed ownership. But not before complaining to the my local shell garage that they had their pumps incorrectly calibrated :nelson:

The way the water pisses in from the roof

with the window 2mm down!

Seatbelt's a fookin' nightmare, keep forgetting to release

it before opening door!

Other than that...........NOTHING AT ALL, IT'S PERFECT!

THATS WHY I BOUGHT IT!!

Ummm....

Brakes arent that good

Jacking the front up is a PITA

Yeah the windsceen wiper extra wipe annoys me too

Fecking insurance

Planning trips around Shell garage locations lol

The grey strip around the stock front bumper

Fooking love it tho

Pete

yep has to be the fookin seat belts,i have to pull the seatbelt up tight coz if i was in acrash id hit the window before the barstewards save my life :p

2/ive had the car a few months and it seems i fix one prob, then i got another problem as people say WELCOME TO Z OWNERSHIP it gets me down to think that when i get in the car whats going to go wrong next

3/any thing else is just positive so doesent belong with this thread,oh one more thing optimax,i have to drive 15miles to get shell fuel so by the time i get home i have to go back for more lol

Only one thing - windscreen wipers! I hate seeing them when im driving in any car , big ugly slashes obscuring the windscreen , think i might take them off when its sunny :-). Dont Merc wipers sit below the level of the dashboard so you cant see 'em?

Nah, turning handle to four o'clock works best for me!

20:00 surely!

My window used to rattle on my 92 import but now i've got a 93 UK TT is doesn't do it at all!!!!!

There's nothing i don't like about it i used to have a Porsche 928 4.7l and thought it was the best car i ever owned...........till i bought a 300!!!!!

Brakes arent that good

My previous chassis was stock and there was nowt wrong with the brakes on that, esp considering the weight! Didn't it hold a 100-0 record for a while?

I think this is one of those myths which stem from the same things being broken on everyone's brakes - ie they need bleeding, sticky piston, worn discs, shagged geometry. If all of those are mint the brakes are good.

They also definitely need a bit of heat to get going - so driving around town they'll always be crap. I'd rather have crap brakes at 30mph than 100 tho!

And the other thing is they seem worse than most car brakes because you drive the Z harder than most cars.
