I've seen on here the other week, where someone recomended what to clean the TB's with.

I've done a few serches, but cant find it :confused:

 

So, what is the best stuff to use, and any tips? I beleive that in the post the person said not to use carb cleaner?!?!

Just make sure you also clean the idle valve at the back pass side of the plenum afterwards too ;)

Considering cleaning the TB was the first job I did on my Z and I used Carb cleaner, I dont see why I would say dont use it. :confused:

Finally got round to doing this job yesterday. Fantastic difference, wish I did it months ago! Remembered this advice...

...but didn't know what I was looking for. Anyone got a pic of it? I couldn't spot it on the 'engine my numbers' FAQ either.
