Well I now have my 91 TT and I love it. It kicks bottom, I had a 928S2 Porker earlier in the year and this would leave it for dead!

I do have a question (the start of many I would think) Has anyone experienced jumping with the factory CD player, mine plays and occasionally jumps on mild bumps.

Is it possible to fit an aftermarket radio as I have quite a decent Pioneer CD but am not sure if it will fit straight in?

Yeah , make sure you dont drop the top two screws down into the AC vents tho, that would not be pretty :o(

Dont let that put you off tho, I did my stereo in about 20 mins and it wasn't a straight connector swap either. Just be carefull there.

My Pioneer has a flip down front so I will probably have to mount it on the outside of the facia slot so the front will flip down.

Fitted a Kenwood Mini disk head unit in mine plus a kenwood amp in the center console which fits perfectly behind the lower blanking panel , infinity door speakers, jbl rears, a 12in jensen sub on a legacy amp in the boot (made the enclosure from fiberglass and mdf). Dumped the sony cd changer, mine jumped too. Had to trim the aperture to get the head unit to fit but the hardest job was routing power from the battery, used the bonet release cable grommet in the end. Sounds pretty good for a budget system even if I do say so myself.
