My black trim around the doors and windows is looking s**t. Any body know of a product that will get them looking nice and black again?

Try Autoglym 'Vinyl & Rubber Care'

It brings the trim up black & shiny, good to use on the dash & the rubber intake hoses under the bonnet!

wait until you have to replace them if like mine slightly perished that they are. i'm having my new bodykit fitted and thought why not get them replaced as well i shat myself at the price of a complete re seal window kit nearly 200 squid for a few measly pieces of rubber. i don't pay that for two new back tyres it's a rip man

Tooley - where R U gettin em from?

Does the kit cover EVERYTHING (front & rear windows etc...)

I got a quote from the states on window rubbers. Still expensive just for the front window, lost the quote... over $150 I think. I hear the rear window is very difficult and the rear quarter-windows have the rubber attached (to the glass)at the factory, so you'r best choice is to restore the rubbers unless you are loaded!

The trim looks crap all over my car, even the plastic beading on the roof panels has gone white now.

I guess it happens to us all. The Zed is going grey! Just like me! Feck!

I've tried the 'Back to Black' stuff, but it makes little difference.

Have you tried Grecian 2000?

check twinturbo.net.....

there have been loads of posts on such things, but... possibaly only US products.

Maybe treating the rubber with silicone spray will help?

Worst case senario, next time you polish your black shoes take a vist to the car.

I Tried the Grecian 2000 but you have to re-apply it every 6 weeks. The same applies to the car.

Bought some Simoniz Bumper Black on Saturday. Got to work on the car on Sunday and it works very well(compared to most of the other back to black products) on the trim that is BELOW the side glass. It doesn't work too well on the very hard trim that surrounds the front & back windows and the plastic strips that go from the front screen over the roof and end at the back window. For this trim I took the advice from Jez: BOOT POLISH. Yes it DOES work where the bumper black didn't!! The trim looks like normal now, no more middle aged greyness, just beautiful thick black trim. It's taken years off me, everybody says how much younger I look in the back to black Z. Go get your Cherry Blossom out you greying Z'ers.
