Remote central locking failure.

Guys some more assistance please.

 

Following on from the "problem" threads, I have been able to gain entry to my car (which has a Meta 999t alarm with remote central locking). The manual lock can be moved on the inside of the passenger door, and the door opened. This cannot be done on the drivers door. The lock will move but doesn't seem to activate anything, and the outside handle seems to be unattached to anything.

It was suggested that this may be due to a discharged battery, but I can now say that isn't the case, my battery is holding 13.7 volts. Has anyone any further ideas please?
